brake light problems

hey,
I have a 1995 camry and I have just failed inspection for my spoiler light not being hooked up. I searched on here and found that I can splice into the rear deck light for power. I did this but now the spoiler light, the deck light, and the two inner taillights on the back of the trunk are not working. I have checked all of the fuses and none are blown. I have searched and searched but still have not found an answer. Is there another fuse or relay somewhere that I don't know about. Any insight to this problem would be a great help. thanks in advance.

Do you know if your spoiler light worked before you spliced it into the working brake lights? If your rear deck light and the tail lights don't work only after you spliced the spoiler light, reconnect the original wiring w/o the spoiler light to see if they work again and make sure that none of the bulbs in any of the tail or deck lights are blown. You may have blown one of the working lights causing none of them to work. You may have not made a good splice or the spoiler light may not work so it is not completing the electrical circuit. Good luck.
