Um, silverstars are the best. Your other options are PIAA and GE. I have silverstars on my 89 camry and had them for a couple years, I have them on my current 01 camry and they are bright as your gonna get without going HID. I think there are more than enough threads that discuss this very topic signifcantly.. everytime i search about headlights i get at least 8 pages of results.
Silverstars are absolutely the best short of HID. Get 4 Silverstar 9005 bulbs and do the 9006 -> 9005 Conversion (see camry FAQ) and you will have more light that you will ever need lol.

I had a silverstars 9005 conversion done and they looked great like a real HID but after a while they turned yelowish and they costed me $40. I have extreme white PIAA in my other car and they are better than silverstars.
Just curious if anyone's atttempted the HIR bulbs (not HID) as in the CAMRY FAQ page for the 9006 to 9005 retrofits
here's a link to the actual site: HIRHEADLIGHTS

Brake lights aren't broken, I just don't brake.

Sounds interesting. The Camry FAQ sticky has somethin' about HIRs. Anyone got any on their Cam? I'm lookin' for some lights to replace my low beams too...
Darn my car and it's 9003 bulbs! Still, I am also debating which bulbs to get, I'll probably just go with silverstars. Oh and on a related subject, is there any way to clean out headlight lenses? Mine are starting to get yellow and fogged.
I think someone should make a good sticky on light bulbs.
Sylvania Silverstars are your best bang for the buck. Piaas would just be better with more of a HID xeon look but cost anywhere from $100-$250 either than that forget about bulbs and get HID kit. Which I highly suggest
light intensity Piaa has more of a selection which are as close as you can get to HID xeon kits. silverstars come second.
There are the cheaper ones you get at the performance stores. but those ones usually burn out quicker than 2 years.
Silverstars very good choice for bulbs. I’m using them now, no complaints. But after awhile you want to get HID's
Usually these bulbs can last about 2 years. Rumors have it because your headlights are drawing more electricity over time your drive lights will wear out faster.
I put the silver stars in. They look nice. Just one question though.
While replacing the drivers side light, my dad made me take out the battery because he though that was what was right to do, and that otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to do it. I kept yelling that it was bull, and we didn't have to take it out. So, which one of us was right?
