Take a pic so we can see! Meanwhile, check that they all work, reverse lights, turn signals, brake lights (including your third brake light). Also, flick on your headlights and see if your rear lights up. It should be four red areas on your rear lights.
Ive got a 4th gen and my right tail light (the one thats on the trunk lid) is a little tweaky, every once in a while when i turn the lights on it wont come on, but if i hit the lid or open and shut the trunk it will come back on. the same thing happened to the lights behind the a/c knobs. Is this a common problem for 4th gens? and if so, is there a remedy?
yeah everything works BU my tail lights and ive checked everything .. n no its not for clear tail lights its just because my brake lights sont work and i dont have reverse lights since their ugly lol didnt like them so i took them out

let me get this straight...you took out your reverse lights and you're wondering why you got pulled over?.... let me think of the cure.....oh yeah...put the lights back in. And take the bull balls off and that damn gucci fabric and outside speakers too...keep the 10 switch deal and wire rims.....get back to what was good

im sure hes not gettin pulled over for his reverse lights, im sure its cuz his breaklights arnt working. he needs to either fix his fuse or wiring for the lights.
why not bring it into a toyota dealership?? i'm sure they could pinpoint the problem in like 15 mins tops and you'd be on the road happy in another 30. My $0.02

15 mins. and 350 dollars later....
theyll rape him up the ass to go thru his electrical system
could be the tail light failure sensor its a little yellow or white box that lights the burnt tail light indicator on the dash those boxes are prone to failure
