Rim question!

Hey guys whats up, i used the search and etc, but i couldnt find exatly what i needed, I have a gen 3 96 LE, and i am thinking about rims, im looking at 18's, I kno camry is an 5 lug, ( obviously) and 114.3? or something not sure exatly, sorta need, help, but i was also wondering what the offset mean, some rims are 40-48 offset, and i wasnt sure what the camry could take. And my last quistion is does it matter what tires i get since the offset? or just all low profile tires made to fit 18's will fit all of the offsets... thanks :whatwha t::whatwha t: lol
