Yup you heard it right folks.........I was on my way home last night when it happened. I was driving down the road coming up to an intersection with a gas station on the corner. I noticed a car (toyota Rav-4) stoped at the entrance to the gas statiopn waiting to make a right turn. I gues she was not paying any attention....she pulled out right in front of me....not that it helps that it had just rained and the street was slick. So I slamed on the brakes and slid right into her back drivers side corner.....SHE WASN"T EVEN OUT OF THE STATIONS LOT YET!!!! That might tell you what little reaction time I had. Well I am going to need a new bumper and possibly a new hood. I just hope it is fixed in time for the Canada meet this August I'm not to upset about the hood, it's not noticable and I am getin a CF one anyway.
The Kirkwood police came out and took a report, but he did not issue a sitation to either of us. But at the same time he did not ask me what happened, he just went on word of the lady. But I just filed a claim w/ her insurance company, and I hope the car will be fixed in time for the meet. Cross your fingers.
time for gen4.5 headlight conversion??? You have gen4 right Yesca?
Yea I have a Gen 4 but the damage was not that intense to where I need new fenders and what not. The thought did cross my mind but I'm just worried about getting my baby fixed.
We'll I just got an estimate yesterday and the total damages come to $1300-$1700 depending on the shop I got to. Now all I have to do is wait and see who is going to be at fault on this one.
