Question 99' Camry Indash Help!

im installing an indash monitor and there are wires in the back of the monitor that wont fit because there isnt enough space. i was wondering if i could cut the plastic that blocks it in the back. i dont know if its an air conditioning system or anything important. if anyone knows and could tell me that would be alot of help.

It'd really help if you could post pictures, or better describe what you're talking about.

Isn't it that stupid piece of plast that looks like it curls up from below.. It's like the plastic is there to prevent the wires from hanging below into the ashtray or whatever.. Atleast, that's what it looked like to me. Anyways, ask "Cam2XRunner", he helped me and he'll probably help you too. I'm sure you can though because it doesn't seem to be an AC piece at all...

I believe that is either heater or AC ducting, could be wrong though. I wouldn't cut it.

Is it the RCA wires that are hitting the backl wall?
