Does hot weather cause higher fuel consumption? I have already noticed a drop in power I'm guessing due to the hot weather here. But recently, I notice that the fuel gauge drops a a lot faster than before. One time, I notice it went back up in the morning time.
Does fuel evaporate in the tank and then condense when it cools down at night?
Should I be looking for a fuel leak?
I don't know if I've been romping on the fuel or not due to the reduced power output, but I will try to observe my habbits for the next week. I also have the A/C running more now compared to a month or two back.
The current daytime temperature here is 113-117 deg F. At 6 in the morning the temperature is 88-95 deg F.

The hotter the weather, less dense is the air coming in from the intake thus making less power. AC eats up more fuel and takes more power away. Or, you may be stepping on it harder to compensate for the power loss and consuming even more fuel like that.
I've noticed the same thing... its about 100 degrees or so here, and during the day, even with my windows rolled down and no A/C on, I get less power than I do after the sun goes down.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
great tip here -- the colder it is the denser the fuel will be :P
