i recently bought Megular's Plastix to clean the slight yellowish tin on one of my headlights. it kinda worked, guess i gotta do it more. what do you ppl use to clean it?
plain ol' regular tooth paste and elbow grease. ...gotta be the paste kind, not the gel. reason it works is cause tooth paste is a mild abrasive polish.

see in the last one how its more yellowish than the corner's clear part? also its a little hard to tell cuz the suns casting a shadow over the dirtier headlight. its not yellow to the point of no light going through, but i want it crystal clear.
alot of the tint is on the out side. i hear baking soda liquid mix in it would help take some of the inside yellow out. i use some brass polish wadding stuff. works to clean off the yellow real good. then i finsh with some turtle wax to try and keep it clean for a month or so.

well to the LE guy, i got it from checker auto parts. before that, my friend let me use his polishing compound. that works to, just takes more work. this stuff works faster.
I use 3M plastic cleaner....Then finish up with 3M Plastic polish. It worked really well on my headlights...They too had the yellowish tint (on the outside) but it came right off with the 3M polish/cleaner. ps: I got it from oreilly auto parts.
