My other questions was if i decide to get 18s..will the tires rub b/c i am lowering my car alomost 2inches??what tire size do you reccomend for both the 17s and 18s??? Any feedback would help..thanks

if you're not going to race or anything, and if you don't drive super aggressive, then you may as well get the 18s...they look sweet, but I'd personally be afraid of hitting something and warping hte rims....
and I wouldn't worry about the side walls rubbing....as long as you size hte tires for the rims correctly, you should be fine

reccomendations on whether i should get 17s or 18s?
-Because you have a 4cyl engine, i would suggest getting 17s. Unless you're going to spend a lot of money on very light wheels (Volk Racing etc.), you're going to be bogging your car down quite a bit. The average 17" wheel already weighs about 20lbs give or take a couple. With tires, you're looking at almost 50+lbs of unsprung weight at each corner. Assuming you're currently running stock steelies, you're going to regret either move. Your engine will have to work harder to turn the extra weight, thus affecting acceleration. Your call.
My other questions was if i decide to get 18s..will the tires rub b/c i am lowering my car alomost 2inches?
-As long as the wheels you buy are the correct offset (which also depends on the design of the wheel), and you get tires that do not increase the overall diameter of the stock tire, you should be fine. This is assuming your suspension system is within spec. working order, otherwise your tires may scrub under compression.
what tire size do you reccomend for both the 17s and 18s?
- 17s: 215/45/17 on a 7" wheel
- 18s: 215/40/18 on a 7" wheel
These tire sizes are the closest you can get to the stock tire diameter of 24.75".
hey guys thanks for the input...i may go with 17s but 18s are what would look bas a$$ with my car...i am thinking about getting some lightweight 18s(or as light as 18s come)...the tokicos i actually got for a really good deal from a friend of mine..he sold them to me for $220 plus shipping..i was so happy ....i still have to get rid of some other rims i have now, before i get some new ones..so i may be a few weeks..thanks again for your help
tell you the true i really liked my sprint springs. I was riding on it with my factory struts for awhile. but the ride was alil more bouncy than the stock spings so i have to take it off. I couldn't afford and struts right now and new sprints. sprint really dropped my car low. lower than all my other buddies. but where i live road sux ass so i can't really drop it as far down as i like. I need me a SUV or something for the roads here.
