DIY Gen III fuel filter change

I wanted to change the fuel filter today on my '96 Camry 4cyl but wouldn't you know, even after removing the air filter box I still couldn't get to the connections well enough to remove the old fuel filter.

And I know enough to know that if getting the old one out is tough, putting the new one in is courting trouble!!!

I plan to get a set of fuel line wrenches this weekend. Are there any other specific tools (other than the usual toolbox stuff) that I might need when I drop the cha-ching at Sears?

And are there any "tips" or "tricks" to changing one of those suckers?

I do the fuel filter on my Tacoma without a problem but it's along the frame rail under the truck...this one is a bit of a challenge!
