I just bought a new 2005 Camry LE and when I placed a CD in the player nothing happened. I can't select the CD or eject it.
Any suggestions before I take it back to the dealer?
Thanks!
its still under warranty ...if all tries fail, take to dealer

Brake lights aren't broken, I just don't brake.

My oem deck from gen4 has problem and I BELIEVE there's a disk stuck inside too ~ I have used an aftermarket one for quite awhile while my oem one sit in box ... I am about to just take the deck apart to see what happens ~
I know a Mazda tech and he told me recently that Mazda recommends against using burned CDR's in their new decks. He said if it happens, Mazda will pop for a new deck one time if it jams. After that, the customer is on their own and these things are pretty expensive. Read your manual and see if Toyota says anything about CDR's.
All it states is that Copy Protected, CD-R, CD-RW and CD ROM may not be playable.
My 2000 F-150 plays all fine...are they going backwards in technology?
I wonder if it has something to do with the quality of the CD-R. I was using Memorex and I know Verbatim is one of the best brands, but now what if I try that and it does the same? I should be covered since it does not state "DO NOT USE CD-R".
If I took my car to best buy or a stereo shop would they know how to get it out?
don't know....is it the oem deck or something they installed...what is your car? stock deck?
try asking first if they know know.....labor is expensive
