I don't recall, but you can check out the labeled fuse panel behind the little coin compartment.

Try looking behind the coin compartment to the left of the steering wheel.

Also, make sure the key is in the accessory or on position when you test for power.

On the socket itself, the (+) contact, there is a fusible link that will burn out. On mine it is covered by a pinkish piece of rubber insulation. Pull it out and check the back of it. If it is burnt, you can put a piece of solder there and re test. If it works after, then go to a junk yard and pick one up.

I've got the same problem. I don't suppose the power socket will come out the front some how. Did you have to tear apart the console panels to access the back?

^ the power socket is attached to the shifter trim which pops out by pulling straight up.

If you are having trouble finding the fuse it is behind hte coin holder to the left of the steering wheel. Open the holder and then you can look behind it and see the fuse block. jsut pull pretty firmly and the coin holder should come out. theh you can access the fuses. I know my Sienna has a separate fuse for the DC socket and the compass/auto dimming mirro among other things. You are best off looking in your owners manual because with a Toyota it may not say plain as day on the fuse diagram which one is for the socket. If you look in the manual it lists out what components are controlled by each fuse.

In the gen 3's and 4's the extra power socket uses an intergrated fusible link.
