question bout injectors

The stock 5sfe injectors are like around 270cc right? Something like that? What if I put in 360cc injectors? Would that flood the engine? I mean, its already programmed to only let out a certain amount of fuel. So with the bigger injectors, there shouldn't be any problems right? 360cc is what I have at hand. I wanna avoid spending money or too much money.

stock 5s injectors are 215's

if you just throw in 360's... things will not be ok, that is a pretty large jump... you will need to have some tuning done to avoid problems imo

on my turbo i am using some 315's out of a NA lexus 2JZGE motor

you can move up a tiny bit in size if youw anted to... 20-25% larger and it wont seriously effect daily driving (a bit crappier mpg). under WOT the ecu doesnt care about the size and it will be SUPER RICH :P

Oh. Damn. I don't know where I got 270cc from then.

Anyways though, thanks guys. I guess I have to go spend some money on injectors. Man, they're so expensive though. Thats all part in owning a car.

Good question. I'm not too sure. Just know I'd better get new ones. I don't trust the old ones. On the plus side, you can't really go wrong with new injectors.

Normally anything more than a 5- 10% change will cause issues during the open loop mode (that's before the engine is up to temp and at WOT. During closed loop, a small change in size can be (usually) learned by the computer. It is best to use the correct size that the engine was designed for for proper operation. Other factors, such as injector latency and spray patterns also matter.
