Angry My car got keyed...whats the best way to get rid of it?

Well some motherfucker thought it would be cool to key my car just because it was clean and now i have to live with the results plus this event has made me completely paranoid because i dont know who did it....i hope i catch that fucker anyways i want to fix this scratch since its across my hood and makes me angry and sad to see it.....the scratch itself isnt that deep so i am hoping a product like GT88 or Mothers Scratch Remover would work and i wouldnt have to use touch up paint ....i am just wondering if anyone knows if those products work? i've used meguiars scratch X but it didnt completely remove it but made it look better than it was....also please add any advice to taking care of this you may have from experience or just common knowledge it would greatly appreciated

FUCK ANYONE WHO THINKS THERE A BIG MAN BY KEYING SOMEONE ELSE's CAR BECAUSE YOUR TOO BIG OF A PUSSY TO CONFRONT YOUR PROBLEMS FACE TO FACE

sorry for rambling on just felt like letting out some angry and just rant

Wouldn't it be nice if there was someone that could invent a "unscratchable" paint?

Sorry to hear that man, I had the worse scene. This stupid guy on a bike decided to squeeze past between my car and another car in a parking lot. There was barely enough room for a person to squeeze through, he decides. "Oh I"ll fuck that car up by scratchin it up. So the fucker leaves a 10" scratch on my FX. I was in the car, and he didn't even look back. I yelled at the bastard and he pedals faster. What a fucking maroon. I was definitely pissed that day.

somebody "ENGRAVED" 3 x's on my right front fender and another x on my hood a will ago. the one on the hood wasnt to deep so i just buffed it with some compound and it came out just a little but when i got my kit put on i got the hood and fender repainted.

damn...I hate chickenshit vandals.......Anyways, if it is a hairline or slightly larger, you can buff, it is wider (hich I am guessing it is)...then you're up for paint. Ask Eye8 where he had his done....real smooth job.....damn slick ride

I use some engine oil (It says it's good for lubrication, cleaning etc...) It is similar to the size of a hand. I apply a little bit on the cloth and then wax to protect it. And it's so well that the scratch mark is actually gone Hope it works for you.

I use mothers Scratch Remover on my White Camry and it seems to do the job, it removes scratches that aren't that deep. I use it on the bumpers too and it removes most of the scratches, and i got lots thanks to most of the NY Drivers, I dont get it i do my Best not to Hit their car when i park or pull out but they jsut dont care and start Bumping their way in or Out of the spot. One time they bumped me while i was in the car and didnt even bother to say Sorry, left me 2 big bolt marks on my rear bumper.

If you can feel the scratches, then you can't fix it.

Those paste crap that claims to buff your scratches out, THEY DO NOT WORK if you can feel the scratches. Plus you have to reapply it everytime you wash your car.

If it did, it would put those body shops out of business.

People who do these things are jealous probably. Poor sorry bastards

I know the kid who did scratch my front hood! My son's physicaly unbalanced friend on a bike! We had the car for one week! Brand new! So not to make a scene with our friends I sucked it up and parked in place to allow the bikes more room.

How about trying some of that color matched car wax?

If it needs touch up paint, try using the factory touch up paint with the brush. Then go over it with Langka to bring it back down flush with the body.

He's an idea.......you know those places called body shops? yea paid professionals that will change a car from a pile of scrap into a car thats as good as new, MAYBE just MAYBE you should take it to them....i think they can probably handle a little scratch. dont wuss out, its gonna cost a bit more, but it wont be that much, and it will look as good as new, something you WILL NEVER accomplish by yourself, how do i know that? you're asking us how to do it.

Why would i want to pay a body shop to fix a single scratch maybe if i was rich and drove a Benz it would be a option...but for a working class stiff i'd rather get other peoples opinions on products before i buy them so i dont have to waste my money...but really why reply to this thread if your advice was to go to a body shop? what the fuck were you thinking? i am guessing you had a bad day and figured you'd shit other people to make yourself feel better in closing FUCK YOU and take your opinions/comments and shove them up your ass
