i just got back from Florida on vacation so dont flame me for asking, cuz im damn tired...
i need some estimates on ALL engine mounts. my dad took my car to a mechanic and he said ALL of them need to be changed.. yikes! help me out so i can see what im in for
35 most for the dog bone
60 to 100 for the front mount..
not sure ot the rear.
did he say anything about the tranny mounts?
why don't you have the guy to the rear...it's the hardest one. The front and the dogbone are easy

Brake lights aren't broken, I just don't brake.

the guy i am going to has been recommended to me by my uncle who is also a mechanic. i rather have him do all of them. im pretty sure he said all the mounts including the tranny mounts
The rear mount is really expensive and a big pain to replace. I replaced the front, rear, and dogbone on my 1993 Camry 4 cyl. The trans mount looked OK (it is big $$ too).
I got the best deal at AutoZone. I found no one to beat their price on all three mounts.
In retrospect, the old rear mount seemed as firm as the new one. Makes me think the rear one was OK too.
www.rockauto.com has reasonable prices , but i don't know what's the quality of the parts. I'll have to buy rear and probably front soon.

Your in my situation earlier last month..I got all mines for less than 25 bucks..got the dog bone for 8 bucks and the two mounts..Front and rear for 15 bucks..i got it from Pick-N-Pull..try to see at the junk yards..they might have it..its cheaper there than anywhere else..i went and ask for those at the dealer..cost an Arm and Leg for it..
Does anyone know if http://www.partznet.com sells OEM Toyota parts ??? It is not stated clearly or I couldn't see it. Prices are suspiciously good. $81 for a front engine mount (93 V6 Cam) sounds too good...

ok so i just took it to the mechanic, he said that we are gonna replace the dogbone and front mounts. dogbone was 40 and the front mount was 160. he is also gonna do tune up stuff like plugs, fuel filter, etc. might get it back tonight, if not tmrw.
