I have a 92 CamryLE with 56,000 miles. When driving over bumps or dips in the road, there is a really annoying squeek or grinding noise, that I think might be coming from the shocks? Am I right, or is it something else, and how the hell do I fix whatever it is.
Your rear anti-sway bar bushings needs regreasing. Buy some white lithium marine grease (at Canadian Tire or car store) and remove the bushings. Shoot it in half the tube and you should be fine. Either that, or buy the Whiteline bar!
I had the same problem,,, it went away after i hear a SNAP sound... No im kidding, i think i had that same squeek, but it went away after a while, i thought it was my rear shocks... but i dont know..

i have the same thing, believe it or not, its coming from my gas tank. mine sounds like a rusty swing in a park going back and forth mostly when i hit bumps but also when i stop. im gonna get it fixed next week so i will let every one know what it turns out to be
right now i have a similar problem with my 94 Camry. At first the dealship said is the struts...so i took the car to a shop and had them replaced.... nope.. didn't get rid of the rattling noise... now i'm suspecting is the struct plate that's causing the noise
