squeeky rear end

I have a 92 CamryLE with 56,000 miles. When driving over bumps or dips in the road, there is a really annoying squeek or grinding noise, that I think might be coming from the shocks? Am I right, or is it something else, and how the hell do I fix whatever it is.

Try WD40 on the rubber bushings for the sway bar and the sway bar links.

Your rear anti-sway bar bushings needs regreasing. Buy some white lithium marine grease (at Canadian Tire or car store) and remove the bushings. Shoot it in half the tube and you should be fine. Either that, or buy the Whiteline bar!

what if you don't regrease it and just leave it like that, would there be any problems(except for the squeeking sounds)?

IMO most likely it's the rubber bushings that are worn out and I don't think regreasing is going to help. :-?

right now i have a similar problem with my 94 Camry. At first the dealship said is the struts...so i took the car to a shop and had them replaced.... nope.. didn't get rid of the rattling noise... now i'm suspecting is the struct plate that's causing the noise
