lol. you gotta wait till its turboed before you can install a bov. If its the sound you're after there's an audio bov available on ebay.

i don't think its possible on to put a BOV on an engine w/o a turbo. BOVs work by venting pressure between the turbo and throttle body. so you have no boost yet?
...um they are things out there that create a BOV sound, like a BOV simulator try sunamiturbo.com in my opinion these "fake" BOVs =

well, he COULD install a BOV/CBV into his SRI

he could even weld it

he could even run a vacuum line to it.

problem is, it would never open,

but it would impress all of your friends

I suggest, the HKS SSQV haha

(actually buddy, Blow off valves and compressor bypass valves are meant to relieve the pressure built up in the upper deck when the throttle plate is closed, to avoid compressor surge. Therefore... no Forced induction... no need to have a bov/cbv)

I bet that is an STi...my buddy has a 2005 with the HKS SSQV and his revs and his BOV sound a lot like that. But anyways...Why the F*** would you install a BOV in a N/A car? You MIGHT wanna get a turbo first...

too funny. you should just pull your o2 sensor and weld a whistle in so when you rev it you can piss everyone off.

You said that someone told you, you could install one on your car without a turbo; I would like to see that DIY cause that would be somthing to see. Not that anyone would install it W/O a turbo.
