3rd Generation resonator question

I have a 96 le on my exhaust I have a Cadalitic convertor, obviously, and i also have a resonator, the only purpose of the resonator is to keep the exhaust noise quite correct? personaly i want to remove it but i wasnt sure if it would mess up anything, my friend said it could mess up the o2 sensors if there close to that, but he wasnt sure. seeing i already have an exhaust on it, and its not as loud as i would want it to be. thx for any input

Yeah it's safetly removable and wont throw off any o2 sensor readings fore and aft of the resonator (if there are any)

However, expect a more *raspy* tone from your exhaust.
