2nd Generation White corner bulbs?

Hey guys Im looking for a way to make the corner parking lights on my gen2 appear white.

At the moment the lights look a stale yellow, yuck!

I changed them a few years back to bigger, higher amperage bulbs.
They looked great (the whole front set of lights was like a big white line) but the end of the bulbs went black, and a few weeks later the alternator died, i dont know if this was coincidence or what.

Thanks.

You can buy white LED's from www.superlumination.com they have many colors of LED's there I bought some from there and took 4 days to get here from the day they shipped it. If you buy some from there i recomend you that you buy the brightest buld they have like the matrix ones. When i put them onto my cary corners the ones that i bought were not that bright but they did look white when it was dark, exept when i turned on the headlights the light came out looking blue. I have recently bought more LED's for my cluster so it can look white instead of green, and im still waiting for them; i just ordered them on tueday, they should et here on saturday or monday, but those bulbs i bought the from www.superbrightleads.com

You can always get some hyper white bulbs from a company like Raybrig or Polarg. I had Polarg super whites in my corners for a while and they were intense white. I have since changed them to orange because i like the old school look of orange in the front.

since we are in Australia, some brands are a bit harder to get unfortuantely

but anyway, ive got Narva bulbs in my Parking Lights
http://www.narva.com.au/Globes_22.html

they are not "white" exactly, but they should match the colour of stock headlights, so you will get a nice uniform colour across the front

if you have HyperWhite headlights (those bluey ones), then getting LEDs will probably be a better option, as they are much more white.

either way, places like AutoBarn should sell these types of things

Thanks guys for your help

Another quick question, will installing LEDS instead of bulbs affect the current/draw or the electrical system becuase i have read somewhere on the forum of peoples electrical systems (like their turn signals) playing up after installing LEDS?

LEDs will draw less current than bulbs.
this affects the indicators, due to this reduced current, it makes the indicators flash really fast, just like when you blow a bulb , there are ways to fix this, by installing resistors etc.

but as far as lights that stay on constantly, like parking lights, there shouldnt be any problem
