Taking out an antenna/motor

Hey if I need some help with taking out my antenna and antenna motor. All I really need to know is how to get the antenna shaft through the hole but the rubber part is keeping it from going through. Ive gotta replace the motor anyways but I need to know how to gett the actual antenna shaft out first...ive already got the motor disconnected and unbolted....let me know...thanks
