3rd Generation Help replacing dogbone mount - 3vz

hey gang,

after searching for about a week i decided to order the ebay dogbone mount for my 3vz. once i got it i did some more searching on how to install it. 2 bolts (14mm) and about 10 mins.

well i went out and popped the hood today and ran into a couple difficulties and questions. so here they are in no particular order.

-since there is no clearance for my socket wrench, do i have to remove the coolant overflow tank? how do you remove it?
-i noticed some square looking nuts on the other side of the bolts... are they nuts that have to be secured while removing the bolts or have i mis-identified these parts?

well that is all for now.

tia,
-a

thers only two bolts.....both 14 like u said...u should have no problem wut so ever getting to them....just take them off and replcae it with the new one, the one side connected to the car bay doesnt have to be very tight! i do this all the time

the nuts do NOT have the be secured, they are molded onto the brackets.

to take the overflow tank out near the fender side of the bottle it is clipped in, just pull up on the tank and it unclips itself.

also try not to move then engine when you do it

other then that ll good! i removed mine and got polyuerethane bushings in it now
