Side mirrors not working

This is my first time posting to this site. My step-daughter has a used 1994 Toyota Camry Le. The owners manual says 1994 but the stamp on the inside of the door says it was manufactured on 8/93. The mirrors recently stopped working. I tried the owners manual but there is nothing which clearly indicates where the fuse is for this. I checked all the fuses on the panel to the left of the steering wheel and they all look intact. Am I looking in the correct area?

Thanks,

GL

USA Mirrors semi-fixed

I move some wires around and got them to work somewhat. They go left, right and up but not down so I know it's not the fuse. I guess it must be lose or corroded connections.

Sometimes the wires in the door harness break where they flex at the door. You might try operating your mirrors while slowly opening & closing the Drivers side door. It might funciton at certain "sweet spots" giving you an indication that is a source of your problem.

I've had to re-wire a few door harnesses due to this problem.
