they're 18x7.5... Thats what i thought, the offset has something to do with the width

OFFSET Is in reference to the bolting or hub part of the wheel to the outside edge of the rim. Something like that. I seen a Honda one day that had like rear wheel drive offset rims. The freaking wheels were like on the outside of the car.It looked like a open wheel car :oops:

I was looking at rims a while ago and i came across a set of 18x8.5 rims that i liked..would those size rims fit on my 95 le? or would they rub?

They won't fit, unless you cut your fenders off your car.

Anything bigger than 8" wide will have trouble fitting in Gen3/Gen4/Solara. Offset is highly critical for 8" wide rims.
