Problem shifting out of park!!

Whats up guys I'm a newbie here. Got a 97 Camry LE V6. Just today my this problem occured. I noticed that the middle stop light didn't light up all the time and when it does, then I could shift out of park. I checked the light bulb and it was ok, even got a new one. I checked couple of fuses but they seem ok. Any ideas guys?? Thanks.

There's a little switch above the brake pedal that allows the car to shift outta park. It needs to be adjusted, that's all...it's a common problem. I don't know how to do it but it's in the Haynes manual. Check it out!
