i have a 1992 v6 SE camry and i was looking at the AEM cold air intake considering its the only cold air intake i can find for the car only problem is it says it fits 1994-1995 im not sure what the diff between the 94 camry and the 92 camry is i dident think they were diff at all.... anyway i hear fits a 92 even though AEM dosent say so if anyone knows for sure or has tried the AEM cold air on a 92 or 93 i would love to know if it fits or not
if your car is the car in the pic and it's a 92..but it's the car in the pic..ie a generation3...it should fit
have you google///ebayed?? there are a lot of options interms of intake for camry.
other wise..the AEM is a go on the install
ps...next time please try a search first
and wow...i'm jealous you found a v6 five speed

speaking from a person who has the same engine and car as yours....SE also JDM yo (lol), www.racingsportsakimoto.com has the short ram + some custom fab work with an extension= CAI....sorry brother it is the only way
alright so i guess im going to have to go with a short ram for now im thinking about seeing if the local shop could make me a custom CAI cuz they made a custom short ram for my friends car.
If your handy with a dremel you can make it fit.. You just need to cut out the section where the MAF sensor goes in and connect it to the AFM. Make sure you left enough room though so measure in advance.
Personally if your going to do that, don't get the AEM. Try to search around for a cheaper CAI to cut.
the 92 and 93 have differen engines from the 92-94
you have a 3vzfe while the 92-94 has a 1mzfe
you have a AFM while the 92-94 has a MAF sensor
so long story short, it won't fit your car
wait... just to clear something up...
92-late93 had 3vz-fe and early 94-96 had 1mz-fe.
what you're trying to say is that the 94-96 has 1mzfe and not the 92-94.
