hood latch adjustment



how do u adjust this loweR??? my hood is a bit loose and i cant really adjust it since its c/f

bonnet clips you could unbolt it, drill the bolt holes taller (obling/oval ish) so that it can be bolted back on a tad lower...

is the bonnet line even with the fenders or what though. you might nee dadjusting of the hook itself (like jb welding it or something.)

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.

imtrying to avoid drilling holes in it till i dispute and possibly get a replacement hood.. the hood latch is just a bit short so i get a bit of a popping.. ill put in hood pins as a last resort as i already got some sitting in my garage...

the2 bolts that hold the mechanisom down... drill their holds more obling so you cant shift it up and down slightly

loosen the 2 10mm bolts on the side and the assembly should slide down, then turn the bumpstops down as well

hrmm there are three holding it on.. one behind the actual assembly that cant be seen. i guess toyota designed it to be non adjustable....fook... there is also a bar running down it.. going to take it to my friend to see if we can do anything bout it at all..

until then hood is off ohh well.
