crossovers

i'm kinda new to doing my own modifying and i was wondering where you guys place the crossover for the front kick panel speakers? oh yeah, and should i get a seperate amp for the interior speakers?

I am still using the manufacture deck in my car, and I just have the remote connected straight to the ignition/battery because the deck doesn't have enough juice to power up my amp. As for the subs, they were spliced directly to my back speakers, and I didn't have a seperate amp for the factory speakers and they play fine. Everyone knows Toyota has one of if NOT thee best manufacture audio system. But if you do have the money to spend, and plan to get some extra speakers such as 6x9's or something, an extra amp would be a nice asset, but not necessary.
