4th Generation noisy rear end

i've just finished installing my tein s. techs and tokico blues for my rear and i notice a lot of noise coming from it everytime my car moves. i thought it was my brake line that i left unscrew for a while coz of a snapped bolt, but that didn't kill the noise completely. me and my friend were thinking that it's the springs or the shocks. i'm thinking about the springs since i saw the coils less than an inch apart from each other. is that bad and can it be fix? the noise is extremely disturbing... thanks guys.

The struts in the rear are put inhand tight. Due to the steep angle of the glass you cannot get a tourqe wrench in there. All you have to do is get back there with a scoket wrench and tighten down the main strut bolt and the three bolts that surround the strut. That should take care of the problem. Same thing happened to be when I installed my tokicos and I just tightened down everything and I have not had a clunking noise in the rear of the car for abour ywo years. I hopes this helps yo out

4th Generation

it's a clunky noise that i hear all the time. and i could torque the bolts on the strut without any problems with the rear glass. anyway, it's noisy with bumps on the road, but its still noisy on fairly even road. maybe the springs??

sounds like the strut top mounts or the endlinks on the RSB to me, just a guess though since you have it all torqued down properly.
