Personally, I'm going to be getting a Magnaflow eventually, because Magnaflow is designed to be anti-rice sounding... nice low growl, even with a 4cyl... not sure if other exhausts will do the same on a 4cyl engine. Since its not a v6, you run the risk of sounding ricey if you don't get the right muffler/piping...

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

magnaflow's alright. I like my flowmaster. magnaflow's have more of a ricey sound (sorry, everyone). flowmasters have a nice low pitched rumble and that's about it. my car doesn't have any real whine to it, the highest pitched thing of it all is my CAI which just sounds like a pissed off elephant.
I also liked the flowmaster for the fact that it fitted into my exhaust layout.
One of my friends just installed a Magnaflow on his '84 RX-7 today. It has a deeper exhaust tone and he gained a little HP and torque, its pretty nice. He shaved off about 60 lbs of excess weight compared to the stock muffler, which was also a plus. I'm thinking about getting one for my Camry in the near future. I dont know about the Flowmasters but they are probably just as good.

Not a rocket by any means but its my baby and my first car!
Mods: K&N airfilter, potentiometer mod, modded air box, gutted catalytic converter, 2.25 in Magnaflow performance muffler, resonators removed
Just make sure that you lift the vehicle up in the air and take a look at the setup.
several "installers" said that it would take a while to do and is not worth the trouble. They said just to wait until someone makes a bolt on application.
look at the back of the muffler. there would have to be some really tight bends and a guy who really knows his bending machine.
I told him i would wait!
I want my stuff RIGHT and not leaking after 2 days of driving.
pooh, find a new shop.
any shop with a mandrel bending machine should be able to bend you up piping. you could also likely do what I did and order your mandrel bends, cut them to spec and have a shop weld it up.
the only way you'll get leaks is from a shitty weld job, not from the bends in the exhaust itself. it sounds like most shops you went to just wanted to give you the run-around.
i installed the bolt-on Borla yesterday, and I looked at my exhaust setup the first time and well the pipe that leads to the resonator? well one part of it has like, bumps/ scabs? i crawl under with the car on but i don't smell anything <~ is that how you find an exhaust leak?
i'll take some pictures of the setup. i had so much trouble installing this biatch lol. even for a bolt on =/

you can take you a lighter and crank the engine when the engine is cold (so the fan wont turn on) and hold your lighter all the way up to the pipe. if it blows it out or fools with it, you probably have a leak.
i paid $237 for the Borla and NO WAY it does not sound like a civic on drugs. because i have 1. a V6. 2. It's a BORLA! wtf! lol. 3. It really sounds good. i'll make a clip as soon as i get my FRIGGIN camera back -_-
