Gen5 What Brand Of Springs???

Hey TN Dudes/Duddettes! I was just wondering what brand/line of LOWERING SPRINGS you guys are suggesting for my 03 Camry. I'm gettin the 18" Axis SE7EN Mod (Polish black with polish lip) on Hankook Ventus tires. I'm open for any suggestions. Please let me know if you've used a brand that did NOT fit with the feel of the GEN5 Camry, and of course all the brands that were good. Thanks! Hope to hear from you guys!

Welcome to TN. This has been asked many times. Please use the search.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Welcome to TN, and yeah you will encounter ppl that will tell you to use the search and it is suggested but i am friendly so i will tell you. You can either buy INTRAX springs which are not so good they are to rough. I personally suggest Ebaich. I just ordered some (2 weeks ago) And still havent received them but as soon i get them on and installed i will let you know how good and how the ride feels.

For a moderate drop that keeps close to stock ride quality:

Tein S.Tech Camry ACV30 4cyl 4dr. Untill August 2003
Model: SKL20-AUB00
1.7" drop front
1.5" drop rear

-OR-

Tein H.Tech Camry ACV30 4cyl 4dr. Untill August 2003
Model: SKL20-BUB00
1.1" drop front
0.9" drop rear

Tein =

Of course Eibach is top notch.. but Tein is a good competitor in my book

Sent you a pm about selling you my TRD springs which were the wrong ones I ordered for my '05.

edit - TRD uses rebadged Eibach springs.

Hold the phone Greylock. You're saying your lowering springs are the wrong fitting? Which ones did you buy?

Springs

I bought the ones for the '97-'03 Camry thinking they would be the same for '05. NOT! Ordered the ones for the '04 Solara and they fit. Got some extra drop due to the Camry being a heavier car. The '04-'05 springs have a tapered coil on the bottom so the lower spring seats are different. Go here and look for the '03 Camry TRD spring to see the pics. It shows the right pic.

Go here and you'll see the spring for the '04-'05 Solara/Camry on the front page.

http://www.trdusa.com/

Edit - They removed the pic at TRD USA. Go to www.trdsource.com and look up the '04 Solara TRD spring and they'll show the correct springs. Bascially there are 2 types of springs for the Gen 5 Camry. Check your springs before ordering to make sure you get the correct ones. All you have to do is jack the car up and look at the spring to see if you have the taper on the lower coils.
