Gen5 Supercharger for my car.

I want to get into performance with my car, and i want a supercharger, but i cant find anyone who makes one for my car.

Could i take a supercharger from a cellica or another toyota and modify it a bit to fit my car. I have an I4 engine in my 2003 Toyota Camry LE.

Any info i would appreciate it. Also i want to know the same info on a Turbocharger.

TRD makes superchargers for camry's....but not for the gen5...yet hopefully. You could try to custom fit them on your car. don't know nobody who has like ^ said.

I think more neon lights will actually give you a greater performance boost than any stupid supercharger would

On a serious note though, with an I4 engine, your best bet would be a turbocharger over a super.

Dude, you've got a 2AZ-FE. The Scion TC has the same engine, and there are superchargers for it. You can buy a TC supercharger, make custom brackets, and it will fit fine. This topic has been brought up several times. Do a search next time, please.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

fyi, it will bolt right up and clear the hood. However there are other things that need to be fixed. Roysan is the only TRD SC'd Gen5 I know of.

If you have a 2AZFE, you could try to adapt a Scion tC turbo kit. I wouldn't know what, if any, changes have to be made. TRD seems to have delayed their release of a tC supercharger so your best bet would be a tC turbo for now. Although there are rumors of it being released by September.

wow, i'm not good at all at doing engine stuff. Are ALL toyota dealerships specialized to install TRD parts? it doesn't seem like it in MS because there's hardly many forced inductions cars. i might even be the first s/c car in this area LOL.

Yeah, Roysan put the s/c on his gen 5. His engine was the non-vvti v6 and he had to modify the torque converter to prevent the gears from slipping. He was definately a nice guy.
