Gen5 Will 19" Wheels fit an '05???

I get my car back sometime this weekend hopefully, fro mthe body shop. I want to get some new wheels for it soon after, but I'm not sure what will fit. I have a set of 19" wheels for my '94 Formula that I don't need, and I'm hoping to use the tires from them.

I believe the tires are 245/40/19. Will this fit on an '05 Camry? I don't mind if it rubs a little on real sharp turns or something, but will they even fit?

And also, what is the factory offset? The wheels I am looking at have a +47mm offset, and I think the factory offset is 45, correct?

Thanks for any help guys!

I am sure that 19s fit. THat is the max i believe without having to change the strut bar. The tire would have to be really thin though, i suggest getting 18s so that you have a suatable ride.

Watch majorgercko1. One of these days, you will know how we feel when the same topic is brought up by a new member 2-5 times a day.

And you my good tomadachi. Rubbing is a What would happen to you if your tires happen to pop because of the rubbing while turning?

Basically the offset for a 19" rim on a camry will be 19x8 at max.

Uh, you should check the bolt pattern. If the pattern isn't 5x114.3, it WILL NOT fit. If you're getting 40 profile tires, you're going to rub. You need 35 profile tires.

im running with 19 x 8.5. they dont rub at all. the tires are 215/35/19 tires. u suggest u use a 225/40/19 tires. my rims are almost on the floor cuase the tires are to small o well. on the newer camrys u can probably fit 20's without a problem cuase there much bigger then the older camry's....
