Question Remote unlock

Does anyone know where the sensor is intalled to pickup the remote unlock?

I have been having some problems with range with a new remote and want to check that the sensor is connected properly.

Thanks

Daniel

The brain (alarm) is usually underneath the drivers side dash.

Check the battery in the remote to make sure its good. A weak battery will cause problems.

usually, it is under the dashboard of the driver

on average, the range of the camry remote is not that good as opposed to let say the nissan altima of the same year.

my friend's 2000-2001 altima can reach 50-60ft without direct view.
my camry will work about 15ft with direct view only and new batteries in the remote

Normally there is an antenna, maybe it is not placed properly. Do you have OEM remotes?
