Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Hey, back on subject. Anyone know if the VIS cf hood is a good one? The company has mostly positive feedback with some gripes with long shipping times due to backordering and not informing the customers about it.

you're funny how much does a stock hood aproximately weight and a CF hood weigh? what's the benefits besides having a lighter hood.

Because CF on a black car makes it look like something happened to the black paint.

From what I've heard, a lighter hood gives you the weight reduction, which makes your gear ratios on your transmission better. Not sure how accurate that is..

Yeah, like some cheerleader sprinkled cheer glitter all over the car.

I saw that on eBay as well Grey, and honestly, I don't see a lot of difference from the stock. But it's the looks that count.

i sure do hope you were kidding.

lighter cars go faster, turn faster, use less petrol, less tyrewear, less brake wear... its impossible to describe what weight reduction can do to a car.

Yes, the best way to get weight reduction in your car is to eat Subway like jared fatass.

If you just want the CF look, just layer your stock hood with vinyl CF, couple coats of clear, polish, and it will look great.
