Wanted: New Camry Station Wagon

Does anybody know if it is possible to purchase a new Camry Station Wagon outside of the US and have it shipped to the States? I'm not sure exactly where they are available, but my goal is to have one. Thanks

Camry Station Wagon

I may just be showing my ignorance here....I'm not really sure whether or not any are being made. I know they were discontinued in North america in 1996, but I'm pretty sure that the Camry SW continued to be made for another country or 2.....for example, Australia. I'm really just looking for any info on whether or not they still exist, where they exist, and how difficult it would be to own one. Thanks.

I think your best bet would be to get a 92-96 model.

Check this out...

Camry Station Wagon

WOW. I've never even heard of that one. I see that it is a right hand drive. I'm really not interested in a 92 to 96 model Camry SW since most have 100,000 miles at best. I know that's relatively low for a Toyota, but I'm really looking for a new/newer one. Know where a new/newer Camry SW can be obtained? Or, do you know where I can get one of the Mark II Wagon's (Blit)? Thanks

thanks Wormhole. I've never even heard of the 2002 Toyota Mark II Wagon! Do you know if they can be shipped to the US and, if so, what kind of barriers there would be? Thanks so much......also, is 2002 the last year made or are they still in production?

They never made a Gen 5 wagon. The picture Cam posted is the Mark II Blit. Those cars will be hard to get into the states as they're no longer made as well. You most likely will have to get a used one for the Mark II Blit.

Gen 4 was the last Gen that Toyota made a wagon for, but the US only had the Gen 2 and Gen 3 wagons.

Japan I have a 1994 SW with 75000km (47000 mi)

It is called Caldina in Japan and if I am not mistaken this was the Camry in the US.

I have a new minivan on order and the dealer will take the Caldina back on Sept. 30.
It is a right-hand drive, 2 liter AT, Aircon, power widows, power lock, alu-wheels + snow tires .

Leave me a private message if you are interested. Shipping to the US is about 1200$ according to Batfa http://www.batfa.com/sc789456123145.htm (thank you, wormhole)
