Question intake manifold...are there any??

do any companies make intake manifolds for 4.5 gen (00-01) 4cyl camry? i've tried browsing around and couldn't find a thing...

I don't think so. Why do you need more performance or your currnt one broke? just get an used one at a junk yard if thats the case.

no point gettin g alarger intake manifold without boost.

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.

yea i want more power! i feel like there's gotta be more to a camry than just headers, intake, pulley, turbo, etc.

sucks that there aren't any intake manifolds...i wish Skunk2 would examine Camrys for a while.

What have you been smoking.....

The only real reason why you would need an intake manifold is when you have a turbo installed.

If you want one for an all motor setup, you better have cams, ported heads, larger valves, higher redline, etc... You ONLY need an intake manifold when your heads start to outflow the intake manifold itself.

Time to hit the books and do more research. There is a lot more to the Camry other than bolt-ons. But bah, you shouldn't go into there anyways

thats what i siad.. but if you were going all out all motor then youd have independant throttle bodies anyway

It's a '95 Integra GSR with GT2871R @ 14 psi and ITB's. You can find the specs of it on my webpage
