Australia Manual conversions ! ??????

Hey guys, those particularly in Oz.

Im lookin for a new car to build and the 4th gen Camry has caught my eye. I cant stand to drive an automatic car and all the gen 4s here already in manual are over priced. How much would I be looking at to convert an auto into a manual approx. and where can i go to get more info about the converstion? I am in Australia so im not sure if there is a model variation between countries.

Thnkx for your help in advance

It will be cheaper to just buy a manual camry in the long run it will be cheaper.

Especially if you plan on getting a shop to do must of the work.

You looking at a V6 or 4 Cyl?
If 4..then theres plenty around, and there not too expensive.
If 6..then yeah, definetly convert to manual, i just did with my V6 and daayymn did it make a difference!

yeah listen to jetspeed, if you want a 4 banger, buy it manual end up being cheaper, but if you get a v6 auto, the first REAL performance mod woul dne a stick conversion, anything else is a waste of money -- trust me

i gotta hook up info with ya jetspeed, im looking for an e153
