Stop leak ok?

I have a small coolant drip coming from a leaking gasket from a radiator tube.

I used stop leak once on an older car and it worked fine. But not sure if this bad for my car if I use it. I can replace the gasket, but am short on time, can I use stop leak now and fix later? Or would it hurt my system to use this stuff?

it should stop it but i would not put it in.
it's usually metal shavings that will seal those parts and along the way, it might kill some of your other parts.

Your always better off fixing it the right way. Stop leak may work, but it can also plug up coolant passages in the radiator and heater core. All those "mechanical fix in a bottle" products are more for temporary emergency use in my opinion. I definatly dont use any of that stuff in my car. If I was on a road trip and sprung a leak somewhere then I might try it, but id flush it out as soon as possible.
