Right now im installing an amp and need to find a hole that goes through the fire wall for the power cable that goes to the battery. If any one can tell me if theres a way without having to drill a hole. I did found a small plug on the passangers side but its too hight to reach from the inside and its also covered by what seems the black plastic that goes there. Sorry for not posting this on the audio forum but i need help now.
easy place for me was going through the driver's fender.....when you take out the black guard from under neath you'll see towards the car is a rubber hold....use a hanger with duct tape and thread it through the rubbber grommet...DON'T TRY TO WEDGE IT UNDER OR AROUND the grommet for safty sake...poke a hole through it....
search, there's a lot of pics for this

Brake lights aren't broken, I just don't brake.
--Can honestly go to a parts counter and ask for brake shoes for the front brakes.

there are openings where the wire harness goes to the engine bay that are covered with a rubber surrounding. You can run your cable through this openning pretty easy. It comes into the cabin under the dash where the brake pedal is. You'll see it. Just look.
there is a grommet hold from the inside of the hood to the fender and then there' s the rubber grommet from the fender to the cabin....use this route..
the engine to finder should be easy as sticking it through
the fender to the cabin---poke a whold into the rubber and use a hanger or something long and small with duct tap to thread your power through.
both openings are towards the top of teh wheel well

I just finished doing it and man that was the hardest part. I did it the way you said and took the platic sipe cover off, exept on the rubber part that has the doors cables i just took it out and put the cable trough it and din't poke a hole on it because of fear of damaging a cable inside there, but that was the bets and eisiest way to do it without drilling a hole. Thanx man it really did help.
or u can run it alnog the passager side through the hole from the hood through the door, then run it under the plastic guards along the floor like i did......very easy to do minus fitting the wire through the hood and car door hole....had to attatch a string and pull it through

loll...i know you made the steps easier, but please tell me you somehow still have the rubber grommet there and your wires are not touching the bare metal of the edges of that hole?
lol...wait a minute...what wires?....is that one wire which is actually the cable for your hood latche? ....IF i remember right? Your importaint electrical wirres run directly through the firewall from the engine bay
