I have been looking at this for a while. The only drawback is that you can't use your playlists. You have to set up five new playlists called TOYOTA1, TOYOTA2, etc. If it didn't limit you to five playlists it would be perfect, since you can still use the steering wheel audio controls if you have them. Also, it costs $100, but that is way cheaper than some of the other ones out there.
The cassette adapter should work, but as you probably know, an aux input sounds the best. Search for something called TOY-AUX. They sell for around $60. It plugs into the CD changer port in the back of your stock headunit, but it is just a straight CD changer port to RCA converter, and then you'll have to get a separate RCA to 3.5 mm adapter. No controls, no playlists, etc. This is the cheapest aux input option for your stock headunit.
If you have the standard, non-JBL factory sound system, you do have the CD changer controls. You don't have anything hooked up to it so nothing shows up. Once you hook up the TOY-AUX, you just press the CD button to switch to the CD changer, in this case, the TOY-AUX connection. If pressing the CD button plays your CD, press it again.

Does the JBL factory sound system have a useable AUX connection? I'd like to connect my mp3 player to that too

I have a 2005 Camry LE, with the JBL tape/CD player (no XM). It does have the CD changer controls. Actually, I just hooked up the adapter on mine tonight. It's the bomb. My XM receiver and MP3 player sound so much better than through the tape adapter.
Make sure you guys get the right adapter for your Camry. The 2005's and newer have a different plug, and I believe that the steering wheel control plugs into that newer CD changer port. The adapter should have a spliced connection where you can plug your steering wheel control plug into that.
I have a 2005 Camry LE and the adapter installed with no issues at all. It came with a short extension/adapter cable in addition to the main cable. I used this short one to match the plug on my head unit. I didn't have to unplug anything.

Good point - I would check it out myself or ask to make sure you do not need the additional adapter.
Thanks for the suggestions. I have a 2002 Toyota Camry with Nav System. The Nav System is a screen in front of a single CD player with tape deck. All mention of people installing these adaptors seems to be talking about plugging it into a CD changer. Does this mean it won't work on my car? Thanks
Hey, I have the USA Spec iPod integration in my '05 Camry, but I was having some problems with the unit (specifically charging issues). If any of you have the USA Spec please let me know if you have had any problems with it.

Yesterday I successfully installed the Peripheral Electronics Asian/Import iPod Interface in my 2002 Camry. The item was purchased through Crutchfield here:
