Australia Engine conversions ?

Ok i have not yet bought a Camry, if i decide to it will be the 1997+ model V6. I have 2 options, the Camry or a Mitsi Magna (Diamante). I know for a fact that I can fit a GTO twin turbo engine to the magna, my question to you all is - will a 1JZ or a 2JZ turbo or twin turbo fit into the 4th gen camry???? Im after "whoolleey Shhhiitttt" apeal from my fellow enthusiasts who wont suspect a thing from either car! So has is been done, can it be done?

Thanks in advance

- CK

Holy mother of god..not another one!

It will fit, so go a buy one now, and chuck it in. I think the only thing you need to change is the front mount. Then you can bolt on a big HKS turbo and your away. Don't forget the intercooler and BOV....

nice one jetspeed. hes takin the piss out of you. use the search function. its been asked. think about it, camry = fwd, 1JZ = rwd motor. cant be done, not without spending thousands of dollars pointlessly.

What do you mean it can't be done?

Theres a Solara (Bullish Racing) with a 2JZ-GTE.

Granted its just a Solara shell with a tube chassis.

Nevermind JetspeedCamry. Hes being a smartass like I am.

And yes please do a search. This question has been asked many times. Till then I'm locking this thread.
