6.75s in my Camry?

Hey, I'm a cheap mofo and was wondering if it was possible to squeeze in some 6.75s in my front doors so i can save some money because I cant find the 6.5s for cheap on ebay like i can the 6.75s made by the same company.

the front door stock size is 6.75"...cuz my MB Quarts don't fit...and they are 6.5's

i had to buy an adapter...i was pissed cuz i was ready to get them bishes installed and wangin..

Hey man, you can put almost any size as long as you have the depth.

FOR GEN 5 from the metal to the window is about 1" and you have 1 4/8" from metal to door, if you remove the plastic that sticks out onto the speaker.. I made my own mounting brackets out of 1/2" MDF (medium desnsity fiberboard)

ummmm....no.....the front on the gen3s at least are 6.5s.....and for most speakers, especially when dealing with the rear deck 6x9s you need an adaptor regardless

certain companies come with a univeral adaptor when you buy the speakers that will allow you to just bolt them on to the stock mounting holes

yes...from personal experience eye8pussies is correct...the general 6.5"ers do not fit without some type of adapter in the front doors (gen 3)...i have not messed with the rear speakers so i don't know about those...but the front door openings are either 6.75" or 7" cuz my 6.5's won't fit...
