FYI-05 CAMRY 5SP----shifter BROKE!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I was crusin down the road shiften from 1 to 2 and I heard a pop.

Took to dealer and found out that there is a flaw in the ring that holds the shifter down so you can switch gears. Toyota is fixin to recall all 05s 5speed camrys and the 04 Solara 5speeds because of this problem.

Just letting all yall know who have the manual tranny if you hear a pop and when you have it in gear and the stick wiggles as if it is in neutral. THATS WHAT IT IS.

Part will be in Thursday...covered under warranty.
