Keep the OEM spoiler (in signature picture) or go with an M3 Style lip spoiler? Looking for immediate feedback here, thanks fellas. Which would go better with an 1997-2001 Toyota Camry EVO Style Body Kit is the real question.
I like it for my 05 but i'm trying to find one that is already painted. There are two types...bolt on (you have to drill more holes) and stick on.
BEWARE...if you take off the one you have on there now you will have 4 bolt holes to somehow fill in and paint.
So you think I should go for the M3 Style Lip spoiler to go with the kit? I am not concerned about the four holes, the car is going to be painted after the kit is installed (I am undecided on the paint finish as of yet) and could easily fill in those 4 holes no problem. It is a stick on, no drilling needed for the M3 Style Lip Spoiler and comes black.
IMO, the stock spoiler would go better with a body kit over the lip spoiler. Driving around here in Billings there is a 98 camry with the spyder style kit and he has the lip spoiler. Now don't get me wrong, the car looks beautiful, it just seems like there is something missing in the back. A slightly larger spoiler like the oem size. I just don't think a lip spoiler would do your kit justice. Good luck with the car though, what ever you do she'll look great.

Thanks, I didn't purchase it. I like the spoiler I have, just don't know how it'll look with the kit on. I will be installing it if I get it this weekend, sometime early next week, so I'll have pictures to see what you fellas think of it. She looks great, but the kit is going to make her even better looking.
How much of a drop should I do? She should be lower, I just don't know how much lower. (Yea, I will definitely do so before the engine swap if I can ever find a reasonable priced one with decent mileage left on it)
just wait and see how it looks with your kit, personally i think the one you have on now will look good.........
for me i could use a bigger spoiler! the high mount ^_^
Bigger cars should have bigger spoilers, that's my take. I never seen an M3 Style spoiler on any Camry's around here that is why I tossed the idea out there. She's gonna look beautiful.
^You bet your right nut she'll look beautiful. But like the other guy said, I would put the kit on first and go from there. But of course the final decision is yours. ^It's your car and like I said before whatever you do to that backend she'll look pretty anyway!!

Definitely with the kit on, I will be able to see a whole different perspective on her (drop dead sexy is what I'll be seeing) and then I can get a real good look at her rearend and see if she needs a spoiler or not. I'm so freaking anxious to get the kit on, I can't wait to dress her up, she's naked without it. I still need to decide on the paint finish I want, yes Black is what I want, but not sure what kind of black. Right now it's just a glossy black finish, I want something sexier.
