Problem-
At 65mph and above, the whole car shakes/vibrates. Dont really feel it on the steering wheel. I can feel it on the doors, the seats not so much on the steering. can someone tell me what's going on? Thanks.
might be a loose suspension or sway bar. Or check your engine mounts. See if one side is sitting low or if the engine is sitting slightly lower than you remember.
If you're not feeling it in the wheel, than it may be one of the rear wheels/tires. Rotate them up front to see if it moves with them. If it is as bad as it sounds, you better keep both hands on the wheel and not try it in heavy traffic.
I'm having this same problem...only it's more like 55mph and higher. I had it balanced and aligned as well, hoping that it would fix it. But it didn't. It's weird, because sometimes I can feel it like crazy in the wheel, I mean you can literally see it shaking if I let go, and then other times I don't feel it at all. But no matter what, as long as I'm going about 55 mph or more I can feel the car shaking, mainly in the seat and in the floorboard.
somebody told me once that it could be one of ur wheel balancer that came off. I bought new tires and rims so i was not able to identify if that was the problem.

how do you drive your car? my camry is real smooth when my parents were driving it because they drove it real easy and what not. but after i got it and had some fun the tires are just not balanced and what not which caused the car to begin to vibrate at highway speeds. i have found that adjusting tire pressure in each individual tire and test driving it is the best way to reduce the vibrations, although it doesnt seem like thats the same as your guys' problems.
also just curious if anyone has a clue if the rear of my car should vibrate if i drive with the handbrake on for a real short distnace? and of coures its not all the way pulled up, its just enough so the brakes are touching the rear rotors. I mean when the brakes are warmed up, the second i even lift the handbrake a bit the vibrations start and only get worse as i pull harder or drive longer....i really dont think this is normal.
I drive my car normally. It's a daily driver. Thing is, I went over this big median-like curb a while ago...then I went to have it balanced and aligned, and they said they couldn't properly balance it, maybe a rim was bent. If one really is bent will that do anything? It's not the hubcentric rings, I've got stock rims.
Did they balance the rims to 0? Some places won't, dealership definitely won't. Switch your tires from front to back, or side to side if you can and see if the wibration changes. If you really want to test it out, swap out your wheels and put on your stock. If it doesn't vibrate, its most likely a bad balance.
Ranger X - if your rim is warped, they yes, a shop will have trouble balancing it and it will probably shake on the highway. I remember my wheel vibrating on the highway because of snow buildup.
