Miles Per Gallon = 34.75

WIth the price of gas going up I am looking for ways to improve my MPG. I have a 91 4 cylinder with an auto. My last tank of gas I got 34.75 MPG. I haven't been using the AC. Can I expect any better MPG than this?

DOnt think you are gonna get much better than that out of a 91 model. Even the new ones are only rated for 34 onthe highway and the 91 is rated for 30 on the highway as per this website http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/findacar.htm I think you should probably be happy with what you got.

i'm not sure what my actual mpg is cause i haven't figured it out but i get 500 miles on a tank in my 2005. Oh! and about the AC saving gas mileage...iwas watching Myth Busters and they did an experiment on this and they found it to be more beneficial to drive with the windows open than with the AC but its really hot with the windows open right now so i'll stick with the AC
