anyone else got a gen 3 or 3.5 (i got a 95) camry with roof racks? where did you get it from? now that im in college i have more free time to surf and i wanna get roof racks. after all, toyota didnt build the camry with an 8 foot trunk haha

i saw some online sumwhere (i forgot) for like 160 but im cheap

Thule and Yakima make good racks. They are more or less universal. It just depends on what components are used to make up the rack. Different feet and bars are used to fit different cars.

I have a Yakima rack on m camry, it is quiet and doesnt seem to affect gas mileage. it fits great, no leaks arount the feet or anything.

Is it a universal rack or is it specifically designed for the camry?

universal but it fits very well and sits low on the car. It actuallyu makes the car look more aggresssive.

k i found out i need Q14 clips to make that rack work for me. anyone know where i can buy the clips separate? and wuts with plastic clips costing 25 bucks each???? lol

you can buy the clips by themselves in sets of two, and they are metal that is powdercoated.
the Q14 clips work wonderfuly on my gen 3.

ok sweet. does anyone even bother to buy locks? i mean who steals roof racks? u have to open the door right? cuz its installed on the door frame
