reverse glo gauge problem...

some of ya'll mite hate me on this...but i'm having problems installing my reverse glo gauges on a 99 camry. i've connected everything, but once i got to the point of the red wire, i just dont know what to do with it. i know the black wire is supposed to be connected to a ground source, and the instructions says the red wire has to be connected to the power source for like the parking lights or something. anyway, i've tried some things out and no success. any ideas on where i'm supposed to connect the red wire to? or exactly where? thanks

Connect it to the parking light wire. Its a green wire on one of the plugs going into the back of the gauge cluster.

If you use a DMM to test/verify the wire, you'll see +12V on that wire whenever the parking lights are turned on.

I'm not sure. I just know the parking light wire is green.

Clip the parking light wire, strip (1/4" - 3/8") some of the insulation off each wire, and connect everything together with a crimp connector (insulated butt connector).

Or carefully (you don't want to cut the wire, just remove the insulation to expose the wire) remove a section of the insulation from the parking light wire, wrap the power wire from the indiglo gauges around it, solder it all together, and wrap it with electrical tape.
