Does anyone recommend to paint over the white areas of the exhaust? If so, which paint is good for it? Thanks for helping

As the others have said, use high temp paint.

High temp engine paint. DupliColor makes it in 500 or 1200 degree.

Or you can use paint made for bbq grills.

Which sandpaper is best to get rid of the rust? Is the sandpaper use for sanding wood is fine? Also, we don't need to get rid of the original black color first right? Just paint over?
