Quick clarification please
In a 4th generation camry 4 cylinder (97) are the driveaxles interchangable between the S51 5 speed and the automatic? The toyota manual says the driveaxle lengths for a 4 cylinder are 23-63/64 inches and 34-9/64 inches for the right and left sides respectively. Then under that it lists the 6 cylinder driveaxle lengths as being different for a manual or automatic. Am I safe to assume that during my tranny swap I can just reuse the 4 cylinder axles that came with the auto? Also how heavy are the two transmissions? I would expect the 5 speed to be lighter...
